The Raid EDHEC is a 5 day long outdoor multisport adventure race organised at the end of May, in the hinterland of Nice with a great arrival on the promenade des anglais in Nice. Known as one of the most difficult adventure race in France most participants are top athletes. Therefore every year, a few student teams take up this challenge. Our partcipants comme from all over France, Belgium and Switzerland.
Since 2010, the association is part of the Fédération Nationale des Raids Multisports de Nature (FNRM), a qualified group of adventure races whose goal is to promote this sport.
The track, renewed each year, is kept secret. However, some caracteristics remain unchanged for all editions. The adventure race is about 200 km long and there is 8000 meters of positive elevation. You will different types of sport such as mountain biking, trek, orienteering race, water sports, via ferrata climbing, canyoning etc.
The association received many rewards for its commitment to the environment.Mainly thanks to green measures such as recycling, EcoCups, carpooling, support to organic farming.
